One word, ethereal. That is the only description suitable for this amazing saké. On the nose you’ll find complex aromas of rich, dense anise, cedar, subtle mint and earth notes like dark forest moss and sun warmed fallen leaves. Flavors explode on the palate in such a manner that your tongue will have a Zen moment that lasts and lasts and lasts. Here again, herbs, pears, subtle melon and all the flavors of Yamadanishiki at its finest in both milling and handling. The finest saké rice crafted into one of the worlds finest sakés.
A true, rare, connoisseur’s choice.

Clean and crisp with subtle fruit nuances. Bought for our anniversary celebration instead of champagne. We enjoyed this sake very much.
