Layered herbal notes with anise and caramel highlights set the tone for this dynamic honjozo. It’s clean and complex with an incredible amount of aroma and flavor to explore. The Murai family has stated that this is one of their personal favorites, and it’s taken multiple awards in the honjozo category at Japan’s National Saké Contest.
Enjoyment: Perfect for rich, meaty ragout or smoked lamb and mushroom kabobs.
